Bandwidth Issues

Distributors receiving transmissions over Channel 4 (RLC message format) using T-1 connections, and Distributors that subscribe to Channels 1, 2 & 3 (ITC message format) on a connection that is anything less than a T-1line, will experience bandwidth issues, especially during peak message times. We’d like to remind you of our new minimum bandwidth requirements for all users, which were detailed in Notice Q2004-127. RLC message users (Channel 4) must have a minimum bandwidth of 4.5 meg IMA, and ITC message users subscribing to Channels 1, 2 and 3 must have a minimum bandwidth of T-1. Please be sure to notify the appropriate staff about this important phone number which should be used to obtain up-to-the-minute information about network events.
